All of it wrapped in deep respect for the beloved artist and a sincere desire to tell her story. “Can a person really have a complete story? What if the story is left unfinished? Who decides what gets told afterward?”
Kikka was a phenomenon—and still is. No one like her has come along since, though many have tried. Isn’t it finally time for Kikka to have her own musical? Yes. And here it is!
The musical features a wide selection of Kikka’s hits: both in versions faithful to their original time and newly adapted for today. Kikka remains one of the best-selling female artists in Finland.
The original script is by Paula Summanen and Laura Kivimäki, and director Lauri Ketonen has adapted it into a musical.
